Travel South from Maldon on the B1018 to Latchingdon. Bear left in Latchingdon and at the mini roundabout take the first exit along an unclassified road through Mayland towards Bradwell. Look for the signs to St Lawrence Bay (a left turn) follow down to the end of the road Shown below outside The Stone pub.
The observation point is near these railings, depending on wave and water conditions.
Looking back the way you came there is plenty of parking and the road goes uphill.
